Dr Marnie Wood
I graduated from the University of Queensland in 1998 before commencing my residency at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. My gastroenterology training was completed through the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and The Townsville Hospital with the fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians being awarded in December 2007. I began my association with Northside Endoscopy Services in early 2008 and have enjoyed providing care in all aspects of general gastroenterology and hepatology since. In 2013 I completed a PhD in liver disease through the University of Queensland and the Queensland Institute of Medical Research.
I consult and perform endoscopy lists at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside, Caboolture Private Hospital and North Lakes Specialist Centre (Moreton Day Hospital). I have admitting rights at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside. I work at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital as part of the Hepatology team and I am involved with medical student and registrar teaching there.
